If you have read through our information on class levels and are still unsure of this, you should contact our friendly front desk staff by phone. We also offer a FIRST LESSON FOR FREE (excluding pool entry) in which we do an assessment of your child's level and book them into their correct class.

Children who are not toilet trained are required to wear a swim nappy in the pool. Please bring swimmers and a towel. If your child has their own goggles, please bring them along, as they may prefer the fit of their own. However, we do provide goggles to borrow as well as all other necessary equipment for lessons.

Valentine Swim School & Valentine Hydrotherapy Pools are separate businesses. Your pool entry fee covers the use of the facility and is only charged for those entering the pool. Spectators are FREE. Swim school fees cover the cost of the lesson instruction. The swim school reduces fees to allow for pool entry, making lessons an affordable and competitive price for our valued customers.

We understand that children get sick and from time-to-time in our busy lives, things just come up. For this reason, we offer make-up lessons for missed classes. To be eligible for a make-up lesson, we ask that you notify us 4 hours prior to the class. Make-up lessons can then be taken within the next 7 days in vacant positions. We offer a maximum of 2 make-up lessons per student per term.

You may change your day or time by talking to our front desk staff. If no spot is immediately available, we will do our best to make the changes as soon as openings become available. In addition, please feel free to check back with us as often as you would like for your preferred class time.

Anytime. Whilst our regular classes run with the school term, you can book lessons to start at any time during the term.

We run School Holiday Booster Blocks during each school holiday period (excluding June/July holidays). These programs are a great way of keeping the children busy and fast tracking their swim skill progress.

We promote and believe in year round swim lessons because children learn to swim and be safer in the water at a much faster pace with consistency. The approach of seasonal swim lessons usually leads to the loss of gained swimming skills, resulting in wasted time and money.

You can choose the amount of lessons your child attends per week. The more lessons you attend per week means a faster turnaround time to see results. Repetition guarantees improvement. We recommend a minimum of 2—3 lessons per week for Learn to Swim, and a minimum of 3—4 lessons per week for Squads. A discount on extra classes is offered should you choose to undertake more than 1 class per week. See our fees page for further pricing details.
